Project Management and Risks Visualization Support Tool

This master thesis deals with the topic of risk management and explains its importance during project management in IT projects. It descibes every phase of the risk management life cycle and also methods and procedures used in each phase. After that the thesis focuses on decision analysis, mainly on decision trees and Monte Carlo simulation. The last part contains the design of an application for risk management and visualization. Prototype of this system has been implemented based on this design in PHP framework Laravel. Details of the implementation and testing are in the next part of this thesis. In the end there is an assessment with discussion of possible expansions.

The main goal of the Bachelor Thesis is to analyze demands, design and implementation of a web information system for a cinema. The system deals with the administration, scheduling working shifts and ticket reservation for the cinema. During the development, database technology MySQL and Laravel framework were being used. The user interface is created with the support of HTML and CSS.

Bachelor thesis describes basic knowledge of content management systems with use of PHP frameworks. Then it designs content management system for independent game developers' web through diagrams. Main part is the description of the content management system's implementation, followed by testing from perspective of installing and content managing. In the discussion thesis evaluates the use of frameworks and examines its advantages and disadvantages.

Bachelor thesis is focused on designing and implementation a complete web application for catering facilities. The theoretical part is devoted restaurant, legislative framework for the operation of the restaurant, analyzing the performance of existing solutions and technologies used. The final solution itself is created in PHP programming language using the Laravel framework. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the economical and technical evaluation of the application.

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of web-based information systems. It focuses on the creation of a web-based system with the possibility of booking services in the field of tourism. Before designing the system, it is necessary to analyze competing systems and to choose from this analysis the important features for the information system creation. The web system is designed and its features are described using the usage diagram, activity diagram, and state diagram. For the development of this information system, the Laravel framework was chosen, due to its high documentation quality and built-in features that are used to create web-based systems.

This diploma thesis is focused on the implementation of the interactive educational application based on gamification which allows students to acquire new knowledge using new and modern way of learning. The thesis deals with analysis of mobile and web educational applications focused on gamification. Based on the analysis outcome, the functionality of the application is designed and implemented. This thesis also describes functionality for student and admin interfaces and further focuses on REST API. The implemented application expands teaching methods of the Institute of Informatics at the Mendel University in Brno. Further development of the web application is proposed within the conclusion part of this diploma thesis.

Web-based application for Czech language e-learning

Lack of knowledge of the Czech language means a serious problem for foreigners living in the Czech Republic. Czech language should help them in communication, business, studying, but for some people it is also the necessary condition for obtaining a permanent residence. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a web application that should serve as a source of learning the Czech language for foreigners. To achieve this goal, the thesis first deals with the analysis of the existing solutions for Czech language e-learning. A design of a web application, user interface and the structure of the database model is suggested based on the finishing analysis. After designing the web application, its development follows, in which the client/server architecture and selected web technologies including Laravel Framework, jQuery and MySQL database system are used. The output of this work is a detailed web-based application that provides an access to educational lessons, instructions and exercises for users, who need to improve in Czech language. They can test their knowledge and determine their skill level.
